Using Learning Technology to Improve Work and Lives

ALTER Think, Inc. is comprised of people with backgrounds in counseling, human development, academia, research, learning technology, marketing, community education, workforce training, project management, evaluation, and distance learning. We strive to create innovative, effective approaches to learning new work and life skills.

ALTER Think, Inc. began with a grant from Ford Motor Company to run the first Wearable Computer Design Contest (WCDC) in connection with the IEEE's International Symposium on Wearable Computers (ISWC). Over time "Think" became a Tier One supplier to Ford and went on to develop and administer scholarships for Ford dealership staff wishing to return to college. We have also worked with the Virginia Department of Social Services, the City of Detroit, Michigan, Northern Virginia Technology Council, Northern Virginia Community College, and the County of Fairfax, Virginia in providing original solutions to learning and training needs.
